Following the entry into force of the Act Amending the Minor Offence Act, a minor offence authority as the first-degree authority is competent to decide on a proposal for exemption from the payment of the costs of minor offence proceedings. It is therefore also competent to decide on a proposal for exemption from the payment of the court fee for filing a request for judicial protection.
